SUMMER CAMPS 2012!! Four Different Weeks of Offerings 
 
Two Weeks in Cornwall, one week at Tri-Arts in Sharon and one in New Hartford
 
Week One:  Drama and Performance Camp :July 2nd-July 6th 9:00-12:00 a.m. (not including July 4th) through New Hartford Park & Recreation at Camp Brodie in New Hartford, CT by the lake!
Children will join Leslie Elias, director of Grumbling Gryphons in a creative dramatics week- long intensive culminating in the campers performing Anansi-The Trickster Spider for the whole camp! Children will dance, sing and learn the art of improvisation as well as performance.

Week Two: Creative Dramatics, Music , Movement, Puppetry and Outdoor Adventures
July 9-13th 10:00-2:00  ages  5-12 .  Join Leslie Elias with guest artists in a week of theater, music, storytelling and art combined with outdoor play and exploration!

Join Leslie Elias, drama director and Ellen Moon-mask maker with guest artists and musicians for a week of improvisation, art, music, movement and performance
Monday, July 30th- Friday August 3rd with a Friday evening 7 p.m. public performance
Time: 9:30-2:30 (full day) $250. (half-day) 9:30-12:00 $150.00

Week Four : Grumbling Gryphons Tri-Arts Sharon Playhouse Camp
August 6th – 10th / Monday – Friday 10am – 12:30pm / Ages 6 – 12
Location: Sharon Center School / Instructor: Leslie Elias
Rate for 1 Week: $150
Leslie Elias, artistic director of the Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children's Theater, leads this workshop exploring drama through improvisation, music, art, movement, storytelling, mask making and more. At the end of the workshop, students will have the opportunity to perform for their parents.

Persephone and Spring:
A Ritual Theater Workshop for Women
Join Leslie Elias; director, actress, drama teacher and playwright for the Grumbling Gryphons Theater Company, now in their 32nd year.
Together we will welcome in Spring as we re-enact the story of Persephone, the Greek Goddess of Spring, and her mother Demeter, using movement, masks, and ritual. Drawing from the original play,” The Myth of Persephone” written by Leslie Elias and Vanessa Roe, we will journey together exploring this powerful myth, which celebrates the mother-daughter relationship, both in the story and in our own lives.
