Join us for a workshop on Monday, March 19th:
Persephone and Spring:
A Ritual Theater Workshop for Women
Join Leslie Elias; director, actress, drama teacher and playwright for the Grumbling Gryphons Theater Company, now in their 32nd year.
Together we will welcome in Spring as we re-enact the story of Persephone, the Greek Goddess of Spring, and her mother Demeter, using movement, masks, and ritual. Drawing from the original play,” The Myth of Persephone” written by Leslie Elias and Vanessa Roe, we will journey together exploring this powerful myth, which celebrates the mother-daughter relationship, both in the story and in our own lives.
Monday March 19th 7-8:30pm $12.
SUNNYFIELD STUDIO, 353 Old Field Rd, Southbury. To Register or for questions contact Melissa Duda sunnyfieldstudio@live.com or 203-264-9189
